— LAS VEGAS COUNTRY CLUB
The first-ever private equity guard-gated golf course community in all of Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Country Club boasts a central location just east of the Las Vegas Strip. Originally opened in 1967 and then extensively renovated in 2009, Las Vegas Country Club long has been known as home to the area’s rich, famous and infamous. The community offers townhomes, luxury high-rises and semicustom and custom homes that line the lush, mature fairways of a championship 18-hole, 7,200-yard course home to several PGA tournaments. The club also offers prime facilities for tennis and fitness as well as opportunities for hosting private events. The 2009 renovation also added an event lawn facing a lake with cascading waterfall.

Nestled in the picturesque, guard-gated Los Prados Community in the northwest corner of the Las Vegas Valley, the Los Prados Golf Course is owned by the community’s association, which encompasses 1,358 homes surrounding the par-70 golf course, a clubhouse, pools and tennis courts. Moderately priced, the community has a family section and an age-restricted area, but all residents enjoy dining at the Restaurant at Los Prados and elegant space for private events at the clubhouse.

— MACDONALD HIGHLANDS
Just east of Green Valley Ranch in the foothills of the McCullough Mountains, MacDonald Highlands takes upscale living to new heights, rising above the desert floor about 2,700 feet. A private guard-gated country club community, MacDonald Highlands offers 17 distinct semicustom- and custom-home neighborhoods as well as 10 acres of parks, five miles of walking trails and a private championship 18-hole Dragon Ridge County Club golf course, which is set back into the canyons among rock outcroppings and arroyos and offers a 35,000-square-foot stone-and-glass clubhouse that features the Montrose Steakhouse, Onyx Bar and Dragon Grill for dining as well as two lounges, a swimming pool, a fitness center, a ballroom for special events and the Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf.

Red Rock Country Club is a private guard-gated community on 738 acres in the western foothills of Las Vegas within the master-planned community of Summerlin. The community supports two championship Arnold Palmer–designed 18-hole courses—the private Mountain Course and the Public Arroyo Course—that offer panoramic views of the city and the mountains. The club also offers an 8,000-square-foot fitness center, the Red Rock Country Club Spa and a 44,000-square-foot clubhouse that is available for private events and serves as the focal point for community activities for the residents of the community’s 1,000 semicustom and 87 custom single-family homes.

— RHODES RANCH GOLF CLUB
A lovely guard-gated public golf course community, the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club spreads across more than 1,500 acres in the southwest area of Las Vegas. With homes from five different builders, homeowners find terrific value with the security of live guards and access to a fine golf course at a great price. Masterfully designed by legendary architect Ted Robinson, the 6,909-yard golf course offers a multitude of water features, varying elevations, stunning city and mountain views and gently rolling fairways sprawling across 162 acres. In addition, the Rhodes Ranch Gold Club offers a clubhouse for residents with space for private events, a golf shop and dining at the Ranch House Grille.

— STALLION MOUNTAIN GOLF CLUB
A moderately priced guard-gated community of single-family homes and condominiums, Stallion Mountain sits on the southeast edge of Las Vegas near Sam’s Town Hotel and Casino. The semiprivate community features both family and age-restricted neighborhoods that surround the Stallion Mountain Golf Club, which offers 18 holes on 7,351 yards designed by PGA Tour legend Jim Colbert and architect Jeff Brauer. The full-service 38,000-square-foot clubhouse offers great food and spirits as well as space for private events.
