Neighborhoods and Communities
Mesquite is a desert paradise with unsurpassed vistas of majestic mountains all around, more than 300 days of warm sunshine, no snow to shovel and gorgeous sunsets. A 650-acre regional park provides a variety of recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike, including a permanent home for the Long Drivers of America Championship.

The city has created a technology and commerce center that includes tenants, such as Do It Best Corp., a 550,000-square-foot hardware-distribution facility employing more than 65 people; Pride Contractors; and a separate Do It Best Lumber facility. Other tenants of the Mesquite Technology and Commerce Center include Ahern Rentals and Cashman Equipment Company.

NORTH/NORTHEAST LAS VEGAS
This area provides a mix of different types of housing. From affordable mobile homes and houses to high-end mansions on the mountainside, homebuyers can select from a wide range. Some of the best views of the Strip are seen from here. Nearby is Nellis Air Force Base along with access to employment. Here you’ll find the following neighborhoods.

— ALIANTE
Aliante is the one of the newest of the local master-planned communities in the Las Vegas Valley and is built on approximately 1,905 acres. Other builders in the community include KB Homes, Pulte, D.R. Horton and Pardee. Residents have access to amenities, such as an amphitheater, 18-hole municipal golf course, two traditional parks, linear parks, soccer and ball fields, picnic areas and a trail system.

Just 15 minutes away from Lake Mead, Calico Ridge offers homes ranging from 1,900 to more than 4,000 square feet on quarter- and third-acre lots terraced into the surrounding hillsides that offer fabulous views of the Las Vegas Strip and the mountains. Prices in Calico Ridge generally run from the mid-$200,000s to the mid-$500,000s with a few homes greater than $1 million. Although lots tend to be smaller than other custom-home neighborhoods, Calico Ridge offers a separate RV parking area for those who need the space.

— COYOTE SPRINGS

Nestled among the mountains 60 miles northeast of Las Vegas, Coyote Springs spans 43,000 acres and offers dramatic views of jagged peaks and open sky. A haven for outdoor recreation, the Coyote Springs development offers a system of trails that connects residents to one another and its vast collection of parks and open spaces as well as an equestrian center and horse park. Coyote Springs also features resort-like accommodations and world-class amenities and homes built by Pardee Homes that support the latest in technology. Custom estate lots are for sale in the development as are semicustom tract homes, all of which boast architecture with an eclectic mix of Southwestern and Western influences although each individual neighborhood has its own variation on the style.

— ELDORADO
The Eldorado development is located in the northern part of the valley in the city of North Las Vegas. The Eldorado community has a park-like setting with schools and parks within the development. Homes are priced from the mid-$200,000s through the mid-$500,000s.

— HOLLYWOOD HEIGHTS
